Lily pad’s belly is soft and plump,
her pancake face drying in the sun.
My murky reflection unsettled
by a school of fish.
They do not name this day
or knowingly do laundry.
My useless little writings
in invisible ink.
I hang them on a spiderweb.
Admire dew quivering there.
